I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New York. I received my MS in Social Work from Columbia University. I also hold a MS in Human Behavior from the University of Southern California, and BAs in Business Administration and Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine. I am trained in various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy. In addition, I have held professional roles previously where I trained clinicians and paraprofessionals around client engagement, suicide prevention and other topics.

Having lived in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Israel and across the United States, I bring an extensive worldview to my practice. I have experience providing therapeutic services in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. I have also served diverse populations, including LGBTQ youth, immigrant families and survivors of intimate partner violence.

Before becoming a social worker, I worked in usability testing and research for theme park design. I also spent time in both clinical and management roles at various healthcare agencies. In these experiences, I always found building personal connections that foster growth to be most rewarding which ultimately led me to become a therapist.
