We are a small group therapy practice that helps adults in New York, Colorado, and New Jersey work through anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, OCD, adjustment difficulties, and more. Our goal is to help you understand yourself better, overcome the barriers to living the life you envision for yourself, and feel more fulfilled and at peace in your day to day life. We look forward to working together to help you reach your goals.

We will help you bring awareness to the patterns that are keeping you stuck, understand where they came from, and shift old habits or ways of thinking that may no longer be serving you. Together we will work to clarify your values and goals and craft a plan to work intentionally towards the life you envision. Our goal is to arm you with tangible tools for the here and now as well as a deeper understanding of yourself, your triggers, your relationships, and your thinking patterns in order to build sustainable, lasting change.

We're here to help

Our practice aims to provide affirming, collaborative, and individualized therapy based on your needs. We utilize therapeutic techniques that focus on examining and shifting your relationship to unhelpful thinking patterns, clarifying values and helping you lead a value-driven life, and developing insight into the ways in which past experiences and relationships impact the present. We strive to create a supportive and judgement-free environment in which you can be free to be your authentic self. We will also challenge you to look at things differently and try new skills outside of session. We utilize an intersectional lens, understanding the ways in which gender, race, sexuality, and class impact our lived experiences.

Shari Jacobs, LCSW

Shari sees clients in Colorado, New York, and New Jersey and specializes in anxiety, depression, OCD, perfectionism, and relationship challenges. Shari incorporates cognitive, mindfulness-based, and insight-oriented approaches as well as exposure and response prevention for OCD.

Johanna Louie, LCSW

Johanna sees clients in New York and specializes in working with caregivers as well as those struggling with anxiety,  navigating major life adjustments, working through challenges in relationships, and figuring out some of those big life questions.
